Plastic geogrid

plastic geogrid is a drawing of a square or rectangle or polmer mesh material, according to its manufacture different stretching direction can be unidirectional and bi-stretch. It is the extruded polymer sheets (raw materials for PP or aaHDPE) punch, and heating purposes of directional stretch. Unidirectional grid only stretch along plate length direction, which is biaxially oriented grid continues to be one of the grid and then in the direction of its length vertical strentch.

1) BX geogrid

BX geogrid are polymers by extruding, forming, punching process after the vertical and horizontal stretch. The material in both portrait and landscape have great tensile strength, this structure in the soil can also provide a more effective commitmemt and spread the ideals of the chain-like system, adapted to large permanent hosted foundation.

Biaxial geogrids are a kind of high strength geosynthetics which take high molecular polymer as main raw material, and add the additives of anti-ultraviolet radition and anti-aging; then through directional stretch, original scattered chain molecule is realigned at linear state. According to physical characteristics of high molecular polymer, under the condition of certain temperature control, plastic geogrids are stretched at certain direction, so they have high tensile strength at this direction. Their tensile strength is 100-200 Mpa and elongation nearly approach the level of mild steel and they have much advantage over traditional and present reinforcement materials. So they are a quite ideal geosynthetics for strengthening civil engineering and reinforcing road base.

Application:
       Biaxial geogrig stretch plastic geogrid is used to reinforce dyke and roadbed, side slope, tunnel wall, large airport, parking lot, pier freight yard, etc. that are with permanent load bearing.
1. Increase the bearing capacity of the roadbed and foundation and prolong their service life.
2. Prevent road surface and foundation from sinking or flawing, keep clean and beautiful ground surface.
3. Convenient construction saves time and labor, reduce mounting time and decrease maintenance expense.
4. Prevent culverts from flawing.
5. Enhance earth slope and prevent water loss and soil erosion.
6. Decrease underlayer thickness and save manufacturing cost.
7. Enhance the stability of side slope turf net patch to improve greening.
8. Replace wire netting used in mine as intermediate ceiling netting.
